Hi All,
I'm just installing an RDS farm with 2 physical RDS session hosts and 1 virtual RDS connection broker. They are all Windows 2008 R2 servers.
My session hosts servers have both 2 Broadcom network adapters. The idea was to create a NIC team on each host to prevent NIC or switch failure (because each NIC is connected on a different switch).
The problem is that doing this I can't select (in the Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration tool) the option "Participate in Connection Broker Load-Balancing" because when clicking "OK" I have an error message saying something like this (sorry I need to translate because my server OS is in french...): "You must select at least one IP address to be used for reconnection. if no IP address appears, check your network settings." And it's true, I have no IP address in the list below this option.
I suppose it's because I created a NIC team with my 2 Broadcom NICs and so my physical network cards have no IP address, I just have one for the virtual adapter created by the Braodcom Advanced Control Suite utility.
Does anyone have a solution for this or do I need to delete my NIC team?
Many thanks for your help.
Fred.
