I have tried to test the USB redirection feature of Hyper-V Server 12 on Windows 7 SP1 guest without success.
- The Hyper-V Server has enabled the Remote Desktop Role
- The Windows 7 SP1 guest has enable the group policy for remote USB redirection but does not have the RemoteFX 3D Video Adapter
- The client (Windows 7 SP1) has enabled the firewall port and add the remotefx usb device (Ultrapro key)
But the USB device cannot be shown in the RDP session.
The USB redirection is working for Windows 8 guest from the same client machine with the same remoteFX usb device.
So the question, does Hyper-V Server 2012 enable Windows 7 SP1 guest to support remote USB redirection or not? If yes, how to configure this?
