I have a Windows 2008R2 server that is fully patched and setup as terminal server with all the current patches. I can connect from a Mac client with the MS RDP client and "forward" my local printers. They show up and I can print to that printer. The issue I have is with my Groupwise email client. When I try to print a plain text email, it works fine. However, when I try to print a HTML email, I get an error message (the same happens when I'm trying to print from Goldmine, both apps seemingly using IE to render HTML):
Script error
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 2053
Char: 1
Error: The system cannot find the file specified.
Code: 0
URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? yes/no
Effectively, printing doesn't work.
I'm thinking that it has something to do with permissions, because when I'm using a domain admin user, I can print to my locally attached Mac's printer.
I tried to lower the security settings in IE 9, as I thought this would change something, but it didn't.
Does anyone have an idea why this doesn't work?
Thanks.
