Win2008 R2 Remote Printing Redirect Issues

Hi,

Good day, I am having a printing alignment issues (out of column) to my remote desktop users' redirected printer(dot-matrix) after we have upgraded from Win2003 terminal server to Win2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services. At first, we thought is the driver issues, however with the same driver, we tested the printing is fine when we print locally from the Server, it's only happen on remote desktop redirected printer. The printer is the same printer model and drivers for both local and remote desktop environment.

After a few troubleshooting, we managed to get it print on redirect printer with no alignment issues by disabled "advanced printing features" on the server's redirect printer properties>advanced tab. But by default, the advanced properties of the redirected printer is grayed out, I have to take over the ownership (administrator ID) of the redirect printer under security to enabled the advanced option. Unfortunately, once we log off & re-login, it will fall back to the default setting.

My question is that how can we permanently disabled all redirected printer from using advanced printing features? And FYI, the remote desktop users local dot-matrix printer's advanced printing features are disabled.

Thank you for your time and appreciate for helps~
