Use SSL Certificate

Hi,

When connecting to Windows Server 2008 R2 using Remote Desktop (Standard RDC, not using Terminal Services), we always get a warning saying that the certificate is not trusted. We have a GoDaddy SSL certificate for our root domain installed in IIS. But I don't know how make Remote Desktop to use this certificate.

In the Certificates (Local Computer) MMC console, there is already a default certificate named <server_name>.<domain_name>.com in the Remote Desktop store, which is I guess is created by AD. RD uses this certificate but it is not obviously trusted.

If I import the GoDaddy SSL certificate in the Remote Desktop store, RD seems to ignore it completely. If I delete the default  <server_name>.<domain_name>.com certificate, then NLA stops working.

How can I configure Remote Desktop to use the SSL certificate? We are connecting using the root domain name, and it matches our SSL certificate.

Thank you!
