Windows 2012 RD Desktop, customize "Metro"

Hey

I see that MS want's us to stop using shared desktops like we have done Before in RD Environments...
But we have some customers that rather work in a shared desktop instead of using published applications or VDI

Why is there no simple way to customize the Start screen? Is this the only OK way http://microsoftplatform.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/predefining-and-customizing-modern-ui.html

If i make my start screen like i want it for the users and then add it to the default profile i can't add more apps without having the users manually add the new app to their start screen and the right category.

My suggestion is to add a feature to GP preferences shortcuts where instead of creating a shortcut under "Folder\Appname" you do it the same but with a startscreen option instead of start-menu. Folder is instead a category in the start-screen and the Icons added to the same folder gets grouped

It can't be only me that Think this is lacking in RD 2012
