· Hi,
I have installed following roles on the RDS server. RDS is running on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.
1. RD Session Host
2. RD Licensing
3. RD Connection Broker
4. RD Web Access
I have successfully tested all the RemoteApp programs in my internal network. Now I want to publish them over the internet using RDWeb Access only. I do not want to deploy the RD Gateway. My RD Web Access server is in the internal network.
My internal windows domain name is x.com (name changed) and my public domain name is y.com (name changed). I have created a public A record (e.g. rds.y.com) for RD Web Access. The RD Web Access site opens and I'm able to login. But the RemoteApp programs do not open because the web site shows the warning message where the internal name of the RD Web Access server is displayed (rds.x.com). Also the certificate warning is displayed.
I have a Windows Server 2003 internal CA. I have got the following queries.
1. Can I publish RDWeb Access site over the internet so that users can access published applications through RemoteApp over the internet?
2. Can I create a new certificate (through internal CA or new Self Signed certificate) for the RDS server?
3. Can I know the step by step procedure to do this please?
