W2012 RD Virtualization Host not part of domain

Hello,

I have a simple question for setting up my W2012 VDI lab environment. Is it allowed that the virtualization host is not part of the domain of the broker and webinterface. All other virtual machines will be part of the domain except the virtualization host.

Is this supported or possible for testing?
