RDP to windows server 2008 having issues

Hi,

My environment is on Vmware vsphere environment and I have a customer with 100 VMs configured under a datacentre on vsphere.

One VM is having peculiar RDP issues.WE use  a management PC to login to perform daily tasks and troubleshoot most issues.

This is a VM running windows 2008 standard and RDP is working for this from the mangement PC (that is our network).

This could be done via hostname,IP address, and ping and telnet to 3389 is also successful.

However when I try to RDP to the server from within the server from Vsphere console,RDP is not working

Ideally this should work but it is not.For all other servers this works.

Also from other customer servers in the same subnet,RDP to this specific server is not working

In addition to this customer is also not able to RDP to this server VM.

" Getting the below error message :

Remote Desktop Connection
An authentication error had occurred (Code: 0x207). Please contact your help desk for more information."

Does not seem to be DNS or routing issue. But however this seems to be some issue within the server

due to something being corrupt as  RDP is working from our network .,but not from within the server itself

Please provide a solution if someone encountered this problem.
