Hi there,
my environment is as follows :
- VMWare vSphere 4.0 Update 1
- 1 x virtualized TS 2008 R2 with RemoteApps published as .RDP-Files in a shared Folder
- graphics: Microsoft Standard VGA
- network: E1000 (in vsphere) emulates an Intel network card in the virtual machine
- several Windows XP SP3 Clients with current (kb969084) RDP Client installed
Problem is as follows :
Client starts RemoteApp "Kanzleirechnungswesen" (a software from DATEV eG which is confirmed and tested under TS 2008 R2). That works fine.
Within that software one selects "Datei -> Mandant -> Öffnen..." (file -> client -> open...) and is presented with a dialog containing a list of clients available to be opened. Unfortunately that is where our little display error kicks in: only the highlightened item of the list is visible with the rest of the list beeing just dark gray (no text visible at all).
Now for the fun part: as soon as the user hits for example the "tab" key on his/her keyboard, the window is instantly refreshed and everything is visible as should be.
This is happening in other applications as well with differing effects from missing checkboxes (always missing with their corresponding text) to completely missing dialogs doing a search. Every single time hitting the "tab" key refreshes the window and reveils everything as should be.
This is what we already tried :
- disable bitmap caching (client side)
- lowering colour depth to 8bit (client side - which is looking pretty ugly btw)
Now we've run out of ideas. Maybe someone had a similar problem once and is able to point me in the correct direction?
Thanks in advance!
