Hello everybody,
at a customer's site, there is the following problem with running logon scripts on Windows Server 2008 R2 terminal servers in our Citrix session. Following scenario:
- XenApp 6.5 FP1 installation
- Published desktops and published applications on the same servers
- logon scripts to connect network drives and to establish folder redirection.
- Script is running fine if either launching a published application or a
published desktop from the website.
When we start a published application the network drives are connected and the folder redirection is established. If you start a published desktop from the website afterwards, the user gets connected to the same server, but a new session is created. If this happens, all of our logon scripts are not executed again, which causes the user to not have any network drive in the desktop session. We also see in gpresult, that there are no policies applied in the second session.
Is this a known behaviour? Are there any workarounds or fixes? Or is this a pure Citrix problem?
