I created a Remote Desktop Services infrastructure using 2 servers for Connection Broker farm and 2 servers for Session Hosts. I also created a custom RDP file since the users can't connect to the Connection Broker farm directly. Custom RDP file tells connection broker to load balance the client and redirect him to a session host.
This is the line that does the trick;
loadbalanceinfo:s:tsv://MS Terminal Services Plugin.1.CollectionName
The problem is; if I have multiple session collections for multiple groups of users,I need to create a custom RDP file for each collection.Is there a way of telling the Connection Broker farm to determine the user's group and redirect user to the right collection with a single RDP file?
If not,I really don't see any advantage of using Connection Broker farm as the connection point instead of the Session Host farm like we used to do with Windows Server 2008 R2. At least users were able to connect to their farm with their specific farm name without the need of a custom RDP file which they might or might not have had at that moment.
