Hi,
I need to connect to my customer's server via RDP, they have set a security due to I must give my IP address and they enable me.
I am not a technicia, but only a developer, so I apologize if my language will be not fully correct.
I gave them our windows 2003 server IP Addess, the same address I use to connect from my pc via RDP, the same one I get going to websites like myip, whatsmyip, etc...
Then, when I try to stat the Remote Desktop and I insert the customer's IP, I get an error (you can't connect to remote desktop, etc...)
The customer's IP is correct, other vendors have access via RDP, there is a high number of connections avaible.
The only thing I think is that there is something on server settings that modify the outgoing IP, or that the RDP is blocked. But I'm not a technician so I don't succeed in solve the problem.
Any idea?
I see that in Computer Management -> Services and Applications there is "Routing and Remote Access" but I don't know if it can be help...
Thanks to everyone can help me!
Simon
