hi to the whole community. already asked in the printing section but no avail.
i have following scenario:
1. site A and site B connected using IPsec
2. site A has RD Host Windows Server 2008 R2 with Kyocera TASKalfa 255c drivers installed. the machine is virtual
3. site B has OS X stations with RDC client, stations are configured with Kyocera TASKalfa 255c, using kyocera drivers.
A: when the RD host is configured to use the Easy Print, the spooling on the server side takes very long - to spool 2 pages of word document that contains an image - total docx size is 500kB, the spool grows up to 32MB and takes about 20 minutes, sometimes
even more
B: when the RD host is configured to not to use the Easy print, the redirected printer uses the HP 2800 PS driver instead of the Kyocera driver that is installed. spooling on the server side takes again very long.
have also other printers that have slow printing issue even when the correct driver was used. what i need to mention is that the HP 6L printer has no issues and delays at all
in both situations, when the print job left the server the printout goes out on the printer within 1 minute
how do i make the RH Host to take the correct driver?
why the spooling takes so long? if using another printer, the spooling is fast
