I would like to know if it is possible to prevent users from locally longgin on to stations that are undergoing maintenance through remote desktop.
Sometimes when I perform maintenance on a remote PC through rdp I get disconnected by a user who logon locally to his PC.
Is there a way to have a GPO to prevent them from kicking me out when I have a remote desktop session active on a PC.

Is there a way to have a different login screen when a RDP session is active on a PC so that a user wanting to log on would see an image saying "Computer under maintenance". This could warn them of the maintenance going on.
We run win server 2008 R2 standard.
