Soon I will be migrating to a Windows Server 2008 R2 licensing server. Since we will have both a Citrix XA5 2003 farm and a XenApp 6.5 2008/R2 farm, I will be installing both CALs on the new licensing server. Currently we issue per-device cals only. Our
goal is to switch to per-user on the new licensing system. My question is this: Since staff will be connecting to the environment from many types of devices (PC on the LAN, PC from home, iPhone wirelessly, MAC and Android devices) is there any issue with the
CAL issued to a user working accross all of these devices for a given user? Or, will the user "check-out" a seperate user cal for each? Thank you!
