hello all,
I've installed RTM versions of Windows Server 2012 in my lab, and am trying to build a Remote Desktop Services environment. I have Installed the Gateway, Connection Broker, Web Access and Licensing components on my ingress point to the lab, and things are working fine there. I have RD Session Host services configured on the server that will actually host the applications I need in my lab.
When I go to the RD Licensing Diagnoser, it says I need to set the licensing mode for this session host to Per Device or Per User. How do I do that? I can't seem to find any admin tools that help with that, and all the bing results come up with how to do it in 2008 R2, which doesn't match how to do it in 2012.
I have installed both Per Device and Per User CALs in the licensing server, and have activated it. The RD Licensing Diagnoser finds the RD Licensing server I have configured. So I don't think communication with the licensing server is a problem.
Thanks for the help
john
