Hi there,
We have a server with Server 2008 R2 (SP1 Integrated)
After an automatic update, the incoming RDP connections have stopped working. When I try to RDP, I get the following message:
Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons
1) Remote access to the server is not enabled
2) The remote computer is turned off
3) The remote computer is not available on the network
Make sure the remote computer is turned on and connected to the network, and that remote access is enabled.
The server in question is the client's SQL server. They are able to manage it remotely via the management studio. I am able to ping the server, and manage it remotely via Computer Management. I am able to access shared files on the server as well.
RDP has been turned on (Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop), and my account has the necessary rights to log in to the server remotely.
I have tried reapplying the KB2667402 update as per the other forum posts, but this has not solved the issue.
Could you please advise on any further steps I could take?
