We recently setup a new Windows 2008 Ent. R2 terminal server and is having issue where opening there is a delay when opening excel and word file. DEP is already disabled on the server and when comparing it to our Windows 2003 x64 R2 server, it is noticeable slower.
The new Windows 2008 box have more memory and fast CPU so shouldn't it be faster? I already tried disabling some add-in but it doesn't seem to make a difference. any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help with this!
