OK, I set up a Server with win2012 as standalone server (not a domain member) but workgroup.
- enabled Access via RDP in System properties
- set up some local user accounts and put them in the "RDP User" group
Everything worked fine until the grace period timed out...
- so I installed 5 RDP-CALS and activated them "per user"
- set the RD-Licenseserver name to the name of the server within Powershell and via group policies
- deleted the content of the grace period key in registry
Verifying with Licensing diagnosis shows that everything seems to be OK, but the licenses are not issued and when a RDP-connection was established by a client it is terminated because no license server for RD is available
Need help!!
