Is there a difference in the shadow registry of RDS in server 2012

Hello,

Presently, I have a windows 2003 server 32 bit with an application installed on it that has specific settings. When users log they receive those settings.

Now I have server 2012 with RDS installed and installed the application which is a 32 bit application. Normally i just have to go in user install mode to set the settings that I want all the users have. The same as the 2003 server. I noticed nothing is added to the registry shadow key. I then went over to the 2003 server and exported the keys and imported them to the 2012 server. This also still didn't work. So, then I checked online and noticed that if its a 64 bit server and you are installing a 32 bit application it needs to be in a different shadow registry location. Then i imported the keys but changed the slight location of the 64 bit.

Here are the lcoations that I put the settings from the 2003 server over to the 2012 server

• 64-bit: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server\Install
• 32-bit: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server\Install

It still does not work.
