i have a mixed network of some thin clients( linux ) and some notebooks (windows 8 x64). There are many hp 1020 and 1020+ printer attached at each node. when i print from thin client via RDP ,the print comes very smoothly but no printing from notebook via RDP. i had installed driver for hp 1020+ (windows 8 x64) on notebook but it couldn't installed on server 2008 r2 x64.
note there are other printer installed (via TCP/IP ,hp jetdirect printing) and they working finely on thinclient.
so give me a stable solution for printing on hp 1020+ printer via RDP server from notebook.
