Hi,
We have a setup where users access their macros input / output files through Windows 2008 Terminal Services as well as through WebDAV.
Issue is, if two users access and make changes to the same file at the same time, user A through Terminal Services and user B through WebDAV.
First of all, users dont get any pop up saying that this file is already opened by user A and changes made by you will not be saved.
So, users are making changes to the same file unknowingly because they are accessing the same file in two different ways (Terminal Server and WebDAV). and changes made by one of the users are getting lost.
Has anyone faced similar issue? In our case we can not stop users from accessing either TS or WebDAV.
A pop up message educating the user should be fine, which is not there in WebDAV. :(
