I have a problem with files somtimes taking a long time to appear in a shared folder when accessed through a RDP session.
To explain further, we have a 2008R2 as DC with a share. This DC was migrated from a SBS2003 server, so it has kept some of the GPOs from the SBS environment.
The share is published to the users via GPO
Nearly all of the users use Remote Desktop Services, which is another 2008R2 server.
The share is mapped fine, and is accessible as it should be.
The thing is that when the users scan documents from a network scanner to the share, it sometimes takes up to an hour before the files show in the folder for the users on RDP.
On the server, logged on as administrator, the files are there right away. Same goes for the few users that connect to the share locally.
I have gone over the GPO's with the result wizard to see which policies the users are getting, and how it affects them, but I can't find anything that pertains to this problem.
Can anyone help me with some insight as to what causes the delay?
