How to force the Remote Desktop Connection to use more network resources for a better user experience?
Hello,
please is it possible to force the RDP to use more network resources? At this moment I am testing a daily usage of the operating system (Windows 8 Enterprise - virtual machine in Hyper-V) to that I connect remotely. I am connecting to the system through physical
network (1 Gb) or through virtual network switch (10 Gb). The RDP use only 10 - 20 Mb(monitored trough Task Manager) and this not enough for a big resolution (2560 x 1440 px) and thereforeanimations are not smooth and everything is a more slow then it is on local computer.
The virtual operating system have installed RemoteFX video card and I also tried to configure it in Group Policy for best experience but I did not see any difference. I also tried many configurations of the Remote Desktop Connection (persistent bitmap caching, etc.) but also I did not see any difference
All networks (virtual and also physical) have a lot of free resources but RDP do not use it and therefore everyday work in high resolution is unpleasant.
Thank you very much for any help.
