Windows 2012 RDS Networking: making virtual desktops connect to a network other than the administrative network/domain

i apologize if this has been discussed before - in that case i would appreciate it if someone could point me to that thread!

I'll try to keep my setup description SIMPLE:

ADMIN NETWORK 192.168.x.y
two hosts, failover clustering installed
cluster shared storage available
redundant DCs and DNS

PRODUCTION NETWORK 100.100.x.y.
only for client VMs, and production apps
one DC, DNS and DHCP as of now (redundancy will follow, but first i need to get this working)

i successfully installed, configured and used RDS with virtual desktops yesterday - worked like a charm.
everything ran on the admin network and the client VMs were clustered. failover, migration, connection brokering - perfect.

after getting over the initial elation of my success, i realized this setup would not work on my PRODUCTION network, which is even physically (!) separate from the admin network.
thinking about it some more made me wonder if it is even possible to deploy the idea i have:
TWO hosts only - running both the admin and production domains and networks. eventually, it will be a nospof configuration of course.

Issues i see and for which i would love some advice:

1. when i run RDS services in the admin network/domain (where they belong IMHO), i dont see how to make the client VMs join the OTHER (production) network/domain. is there a way to make them join the other domain and IP subnet after they are created?

2. i could deploy the whole thing in the production network/domain. but if i do that, How would the RDS service access the failover cluster? and i would be softening the boundaries between admin and production domains...

i guess i need a guide how to deploy RDS in one network/domain, but be able to use and access the client VMs ONLY from another network/domain.

any help is muchly appreciated!
