Windows 7 home premium RDP to Windows server 2008 R2 Mic issue

I have noticed there are already multiple threads about the issue with windows 7 and mic redirects from windows 7 to the server. I have googled around and looked everywere I've setup the RDP on my end and edited the registry, I've also changed the policy and ensured that the services are running however every time I try and get the mic it tells me there is no audio device. can anyone tell me what I'm missing?
