Unfortunately, I’m faced with the same issue as addressed (yet not resolved) in other postings I’ve read today. My company is about to move their Terminal Server (Windows 2003) / Remote Desktop licensing database to a newer server (Windows 2008) and is unable to locate all of the licensing information ahead of time.
Is there any way we can extract this data from the old server before attempting the move? I’m worried we might need to recreate the TS/RD database and enter everything from scratch. I called Microsoft today and they said that they were unable to help and that they recommended I post the question here instead.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
