Automate timezone selection Remote Desktop Session on Server 2008

The current Microsoft RDP client for MacIntosh still doesn't support the proper functionning of Timezone Redirection.

Currently the user needs to run the Date and Time control panel applet to manually set the desired Timezone.

Under Server 2003 a terminal services user could script this by running the following command: control.exe timedate.cpl,,/Z Central Standard Time

Under 2008 and 2008 R2 this command just opens the control panel applet but doesn't set the timezone anymore. I suspect the working has changed somewhat. Does anyone know where the RDP timezone information gets stored or how to automate this tedious procedure for Mac users? I already ran a procmon to see if it changed any files or registry keys but couldn't pinpoint where the information gets stored.
