Windows Server 2003 Remote Desktop performed the user authentication within the established RDP session, looked up the user in the RD session database, and if the user already had a session on another server, would seamlessly redirect to that server and pass-through the already entered credentials to that other server.
We're looking to replace our Windows Server 2003 servers with 2008 R2, and have managed to achieve the same login screen by reducing the security level on the RDP connection.
The problem is that when the lookup occurs in the session directory, and the user has a session on another server, and the redirection occurs, the login screen is displayed again.
I want to know how to make 2008 R2 "pass through" the entered credentials to the next server like 2003 did.
