Dear Sir, Madam,
Logging into our server over remote desktop and then running a computationally intensive command line application directly results in 100% CPU usage, but the session remains responsive as expected. When I execute the same process using HTCondor (a open source framework for distributed computing) the process appears in the "services" session and the machine becomes unresponsive (fails to paint) when it is at 100% CPU usage.
Do you know why this is happening?
Do processes in the "services" session have a higher priority then those in other sessions?
What can I do to avoid this unresponsiveness?
Thanks
Sean
