I just built a new windows server 2012 for terminal server with 10 tokens for use at our Accounting / Consulting firm. I have 2 issues:
1) There is a bug in the licensing which has been identified by the forums with no real solution from what I have read; "Remote Desktop Licensing is not configured and will expire in 120 days" Well this is just is not true. I have tried everything and this message will not go away.
2) With the new desktop and yes I have installed the desk top experience, there are just too many tiles for my users to get though once VPN connect to the firm. Aside from Torchs and Pitchforks outside my office, my users simply hate it and I need to downgrade and rebuild the server to Windows Server 2008r2.
Please tell me how to get and Activation key for windows 2008R2 using my windows server 2012 key.
